Claude, reading your meetings
Read every Atlas meeting since July and tell me which commitments we made that nobody has since mentioned again.

Does Rebrief join my Zoom or Teams call?
No. Rebrief records what your Mac plays and what your microphone hears, so it never connects to the meeting service. There is no participant to see, no join sound, and nothing for anyone else to install.
Do I have to tell the other people that I am recording?
Rebrief does not announce itself, because it is not a participant in the call. Whether you tell the other people is your decision, and in many places it is a legal requirement rather than a courtesy. Rebrief does not make that judgement for you.
Is my audio uploaded anywhere?
No. Recording, transcription, notes and answers all run on your Mac. Only the one-time model downloads and limited usage statistics you can switch off use the network.
Can I use my meetings with ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. Rebrief can serve your meetings to any tool that speaks the Model Context Protocol, so a larger model can answer questions across them. It stays off until you switch it on in Settings, the connection is made on your Mac rather than through a server of ours, and a tool you connect can only read: it cannot edit a transcript, delete a meeting or start a recording.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once the models have downloaded. Recording and transcription need no network at all after that.
Which meeting apps does it work with?
All of them. Rebrief records the audio your Mac plays rather than connecting to a service, so Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Slack, FaceTime, Webex, Discord, WhatsApp and any browser tab all work the same way.
Can I use it on an Intel Mac?
No. Rebrief requires Apple Silicon and macOS 15 or later.
Which languages can it transcribe?
Speak in any of 99 supported languages. Rebrief recognizes the language on each side of the call automatically.
How long does transcription take?
Transcription time depends on the meeting length and your Mac. It runs after the call rather than during it, and you can start a new recording while the last one is still working.
Is there a subscription?
No. Rebrief is a one-time purchase with no account and no seat. Recordings up to 15 minutes are free and complete, so you can judge the real product before paying.
How is this different from a cloud notetaker?
Most notetakers join your call as a bot, upload the audio to their servers, and bill per seat every month. Rebrief adds nothing to the call, keeps every recording on your machine, and is bought once.
Can I get my data out?
Use Export to save the transcript as Markdown, plain text, SRT or WebVTT, or to save both audio tracks. Meeting notes can be copied as Markdown.
Does it record video?
No. Rebrief is audio only, and it does not watch your screen or your camera. A recording is two audio tracks and nothing else.
